As you see, Haris Pilton actually looks a bit like Paris Hilton. Hope this helps why he is there and why her name is like that.

Inflation affects the poor more than the rich, they're the ones who struggle to keep up with the competitive prices, and they're competing only with the other people who still havn't maxed out their skills and enchants etc. Who also are going to be too focused on fulfilling their own goals in terms of gear etc. Essentially, these bags will be a last priority for most people, so therefore by the time you can afford these, you won't be dabbling much with AH prices anyway.
Sure money is taken from the game, but only from the very rich. And inflation is a real problem, on my server Deathwing, EU we've experienced Greater Planar Essence jumping from a steady 5g to a now seemingly steady 14gg.
