We've found that we'd rather have more time on the island and next time are willing to shell out some more money to fly direct to Coz if possible.

From the ferry pier in Cozumel to the airport door, it was exactly 2 hours with 15 minutes of wait time in PdC. One the way to Cozumel, we missed every connection by minutes. Missed the ADO bus at the airport and had to wait and hour. We then missed the ferry while they were on reduced schedules. While it took longer than we would have liked, it still wasn't that bad a trip.

I usually pay the price to fly direct to Coz, but we had air miles we wanted to cash in and Cun was a better buy. You can buy your bus tickets from PdC to the airport in Cozumel at the pier. That way you are assured of getting a seat. Our bus made two stops along the way at "corner pick up areas" to get more people. Please don't take me as being condescending or anything on this reply After reading many posts about this exact subject I can't help but wonder why anyone would even consider flying to Cancun rather then Coz directly?
